Ilkley Playhouse Vintage Fair

Ilkley Playhouse Vintage Fair was the first fair I ever organised, back in Easter 2015. It is still going strong and runs twice a year, once in spring and often the last Saturday of October. We take over the whole of the Playhouse for the day, with beautiful vintage goods on sale.

Come along and enjoy Ilkley Vintage Fair this spring.

Ilkley Vintage Fair Spring 2024

  • Saturday, 30th March 2024
  • 10am – 4pm
  • Entry fee: £1 (Under 16s FREE)

This year’s spring Ilkley Playhouse Vintage Fair takes place on Saturday 30th March 2024. Doors open at 10am and close at 4pm. It is the sixteenth time the Ilkley Playhouse has hosted this event and it continues to go from strength to strength with a mixture of new and returning traders.

Where to Find Ilkley Playhouse Vintage Fair

Ilkley is situated to the north-west of Bradford and Leeds, about half an hour’s drive from both, in West Yorkshire. Trains run from Ilkley to both cities, taking a similar amount of time to reach their destination.

The fair takes place in the Ilkley Playhouse, utilising the whole of the foyer, cafe, bar and Wildman Theatre. You’ll find the theatre on Weston Road, just off the main A65 Leeds Road. The back of the Playhouse looks out onto the River Wharfe. Take a note of the location, as it is a little tucked away, or look out for the man carrying a placard around the town centre all day (my husband), who will help you find the venue.

There is paid parking in the town car parks and meter parking elsewhere. Down towards the cricket club, you might be able to find some free road parking on the day.

What to Expect at the Fair

Ilkley Playhouse Vintage Fair is home to 20 stalls, run by traders offering all sorts of vintage goodies from the 1920s to the 1980s. Expect homeware, kitchenware, clothes for men and women, pictures, books, toys, furniture and all sorts of other desirable items. They range from classic elegant designs to super kitsch items, with everything else in between.
